Discover a world of exploration at the Captain Cook Memorial Museum. The Museum is based in the house on Grape Lane where Captain Cook stayed during his apprenticeship. James Cook set about training as a seaman and learned the necessary skills that would be needed for his world famous voyages of discovery.

Every year the museum showcase a new special exhibition on a topic related to Cook and voyages of discovery, and provide other activities for visitors to enjoy.
