Ive also been in touch with Magpie Cafe, and they have a lift now, which can access the lower restaurant area apparently, and if i email or ring in advance, they will save a table, so will give them a try at some point! I do not know for sure which of these restaurants have wheelchair access, im sure the restaurants would be willing to give you as much information as possible if you give them a call. There are two good indian restaurants that i have personaly visited in Whitby, one is the taste of india restaurants which is next to the train station, and the other is Al Shafiq which is on the harbour side, their website is http://www.shafiqrestaurant.co.uk/1.html . Greens restaurant comes very highly recommended, ive enjoyed a few good meals there. Here are numbers of other restaurants in Whitby. Im unsure which ones have wheelchair access, so please call to confirm before booking.
