The views are wonderful; the choice is either the sea or the North York Moors, a Park where the environment is precious to locals and visitors alike.

Apple sleeps a couple in a double bedroom, and as pet-friendly holiday accommodation, it offers the chance to take your dog on the same stunning walks you might consider for yourselves.

Apple Cottage is strictly no-smoking but has the benefit of a walled garden as you walk out the door while there is also secure parking for your vehicle (there is parking for 4 cars for the three properties with larger vehicles being able to park behind the owner’s property with prior notice).
The design is open plan; living/dining/kitchen that has a multi fuel stove with fuel provided. The double bedroom is supported by a bathroom that has a bath with overhead shower, WC, full-sized wash basin and bath mat.
Personal towels are not provided but are available for hire.

The modern kitchen has everything you would need for preparing a hearty breakfast, a light lunch or an evening meal if you decide to spend quality time at the Cottage.
The oven is electric while there is a separate hob. A microwave is there for quick heating while kitchen equipment includes kettle, toaster and cafetiere. An oven glove, two tea towels and two hand towels are included.
The refrigerator has a freezer compartment while the dishwasher means you do not need to spend too much time in the kitchen. A shaver point is provided.
Open Plan Living
The open plan living accommodation provides real comfort where guests can enjoy the free view flat screen TV, a DVD Player and music from the CD/Radio. Docking stations are provided for iPod/iPhone.
Apple is gas centrally-heated and hot water is free of charge.
The comfortable double bedroom has bed linen provided but not personal towels which can be hired.
The enclosed garden is a lovely place to relax and comes with garden furniture and a BBQ.

Guests have use of a laundry house located in the Coach House. You will find washing machine and tumble dryer and utility sink. There is a minimal charge for the dryer.
An iron and ironing board can be found in the Coach House.
In terms of disabled suitability, Apple has two steps into the top courtyard. At front and back door, there are small thresholds.
Guests need to negotiate two steps down into the bedroom.
A grab rail and swivel bath seat are available on request.
We are open all year round and are happy to take short breaks of 3 or 4 nights in low season, subject to availability.
Likewise, mid-season breaks of a similar length are available with 3-4 weeks’ notice in advance of the proposed dates.
