There’s a beautiful fact about choirs – when a group of people sing together, like in a choir, their hearts synchronise to beat in the same rhythm. How amazing is that? Singing has great healing power. I recently saw some photographs of piano notes in water, they’re really striking. If you’ve ever seen a mandala, you’ll see the unmistakable resemblance.
The Parish of St Mary the Virgin, East Cliff will host their annual Christmas Tree exhibition from Sunday 2nd December to Sunday 6th January. This preview event will start at 3pm and will lead into an Advent Carol service followed by light refreshments.
Christmas Day Mass is at 11.15am at St Mary’s Church in Whitby
The Christmas tree exhibition will be open Monday – Saturday 10am – 3pm. Sundays is 1pm – 3pm. There are no viewings for the trees on Christmas Day but there will be Mass at 11.15am. Donations are gratefully received.
