There are a number of hotels in Sandsend which make an ideal base when visiting the Yorkshire Coast.
For a small fishing village, there are certainly plenty of places to stay. There are some gorgeous hotels in Sandsend which are sure to make your holiday even more special.
Sandsend is located just three miles from Whitby on the North Yorkshire coast. It is a small, yet full of charm fishing village on the edge of the North York Moors National Park and part of the Cleveland Way Walk.
Originally Sandsend was a lot smaller but as cottages were built for workers locally, it ended up joining onto the village of East row and becoming just one village. For entertainment, there is an art gallery, surf school, restaurants, cafes and pubs. Down on the sandy beach, you will find rock pools, and perhaps even some fossils!
We take a look at some of the best Sandsend Hotels below.
