Prepare for the Larpool Viaduct Bridge Bungee Jump

Secure your spot by booking your jump in advance. With limited spaces available for each event, showing up on the day without a prior booking may result in not being able to accommodate your jump.

For a seamless experience, plan to arrive at least 30 minutes before your scheduled jump time. The entire experience, including registration and safety checks, is expected to take 2 hours.

For your safety and comfort, dress in casual clothes and avoid wearing skirts, dresses, or boots that could interfere with the ankle harness. It's also important to ensure that your shoes are securely fastened.

Feel free to bring spectators at no additional cost to watch you jump.

How old do you have to be to do a bungee jump?

Participants must be at least 14 years old to bungee jump. Those between 14 and 16 years old require parental or guardian permission and signature.

There is no maximum age limit, but all participants must be physically healthy. If you are over 50, you must consult a medical professional before jumping. You must also sign a non-standard waiver acknowledging that your age may increase the risk of exacerbating any existing medical or physical conditions.

Are there any health restrictions?

Here are the conditions that prohibit jumping:

• Pregnancy.
• Under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs.

If you have the following conditions, you need to seek professional medical advice and sign a non-standard waiver before jumping:

• High blood pressure.
• Heart condition.
• Dizziness or epilepsy.
• Damage to the neck, back, spinal column, legs, or eyes.
• Asthma.
• Taking prescribed medication.

Safety information

The UK Bungee Club prides itself on its impeccable safety record.

The club's crew members are meticulously trained, with the crew undergoing written, oral, and practical assessments. They are professional, friendly, and proficient in managing nervous participants while ensuring a safe and positive experience.

All equipment is meticulously logged and serial numbered. Independent equipment testing is regularly conducted, with certificates readily available for viewing on the site. Each bungee rope is individually logged to track the total number of jumps and hours exposed to daylight. Furthermore, all equipment is subjected to daily checks, a rigorous process that must be signed off by at least two crew members on a checklist, ensuring its reliability and safety.

Furthermore, all activities are conducted in accordance with the BERSA Code, and redundancies such as backup equipment, harnesses, and connections are consistently utilised. Independent checks by at least four crew members are performed for each participant.
