Metropole Whitby Holiday Apartments offer 4 different apartments that are each unique in their layouts and facilities, so there is truly something for everyone. And while the apartments themselves may be different from each other, the personal service remains the same. No key boxes when you visit us, you will be contacted a couple of days before your holiday to make the arrangements for your arrival and then on the day you will be met and shown into the apartment.
Each apartment has dedicated off road parking right outside the ground floor Pillars and Court and in the rear courtyard for The Garret and the Towers. Free Wi-Fi too.
Each apartment is supplied with all bedding and towels, the kitchen cupboards contain tea, coffee, sugar, condiments, laundry products. There are toiletries in the bathrooms and a hairdryer in each apartment and a complimentary welcome pack of bread, butter, milk, ham and cheese.
The Towers and The Garret offer stunning views out across the North Sea and we offer dog-friendly accommodation in The Court and The Pillars apartments. The Towers is wheelchair friendly.
Check-in time is from 3pm onwards and check out is 10am, although we can be flexible to suit your needs if agreed in advance. Short stays of a minimum of 3 nights are available in all apartments.

This second-floor apartment has a traditional and quirky decor and comprises one double and one twin bedroom, a spacious living room and a large modern kitchen/diner, the apartment can be navigated with a wheelchair.
All of the beds can be adjusted electronically, so you will be able to set them exactly how you want for your comfort and there are TVs in both bedrooms.
The double bedroom has an en-suite a wet/steam/shower cubicle and there is another family shower room next to the twin room.
There is a covered garage area to the rear of the building for the Met Towers apartment, and we will provide parking scratch cards for additional on-street parking.
Overall, this apartment is a great choice and offers an idyllic view of the sea from every room and the balcony. All of the rooms are on the same floor, and the apartment can be reached by a lift to allow access for those with limited mobility.

Metropole Court comprises living room/diner and fully equipped kitchen with breakfast bar downstairs. The first floor bedrooms and bathrooms are on the first floor and can be accessed via stairs, note: there is a stair lift in this apartment for the convenience of those who might struggle with the stairs. The twin room has an en-suite shower, there is a double mezzanine bedroom and family bathroom with bath and separate shower cubicle. All TVs have Freesat and there is free Wi-Fi.
This apartment has its own dedicated private parking area right outside next to a small decked area with picnic bench, this benefits from the afternoon sun.
Small well-behaved dogs are welcome in this apartment, though prior arrangements must be made with management.

The Garret is a fourth-floor apartment that offers very spacious accommodation for two people in one double bedroom, kitchen, bathroom and living room/diner, all on the same level. The living room has two sofas, a dining table and chairs with spectacular views, some board games, a DVD player and a TV with Freeview. The kitchen in this apartment offers a cooker, refrigerator, freezer, microwave, dishwasher, and tumble dryer. You can expect to have all the modern conveniences of home with this apartment, bathrobes are provided in this apartment. In the bedroom, you will find a double bed and lots of storage space for two people. The bathroom has a WC, sink, bath, and a separate shower cubicle.
There is dedicated parking in the courtyard, always a boon in the popular areas of Whitby. This apartment can be accessed by either stairs or lift.
“Had three blissful nights in this beautiful apartment with the most amazing views over the sea towards Sandsend. Equipped with everything one could think of, down to a pair of binoculars on the living room windowsill, it is cosy, comfortable and a real wrench to leave behind. The owner is caring, friendly and welcoming even checking on our wishes for the welcome pack contents. Highly recommended, will be back.”
The Pillars Apartment was added in 2016, and it has been completely refurbished for a much more modern look and functionality. There is a dedicated car park space off road right outside the apartment for those who stay in it.
When you stay in this apartment you will get free unlimited Wi-Fi, so you can use the internet as much as you want without having to worry about paying an additional fee.
This apartment has an open plan living room/diner/kitchen downstairs, as well as a utility room and downstairs WC. All of the bedrooms and bathrooms are located upstairs, one of which is a double mezzanine bedroom with a shower room en-suite. The other bedroom is a unique twin room with a small area that you can use as a children’s den/play area. There is yet another bathroom with bath and shower facilities as well.
A total of four people can comfortably fit into this apartment, though there is a single futon for an additional child in the twin room.
Those who stay in this apartment will find that it is extremely relaxing and has a lot to offer overall. It is important to keep in mind that this apartment does not offer any adaptations for disabled individuals, but you can ring to ask for details of access. Small well-behaved dogs are welcome in this apartment.
