One of our favourite places to stay when visiting the North Yorkshire Coast has to be Robin Hood’s Bay. Here are 10 of the best places you can stay in Robin Hoods Bay.

Known to locals as ‘Bay Town’, Robin Hood’s Bay is the ideal vacation spot for adults and children alike. It is located just five miles south of the wonderful Whitby, and fifteen miles north of the spectacular Scarborough. It, however, does not have any connection to Robin Hood, at least not that people can conclusively find!

With its history of fishing and tales of smuggling, Robin Hood’s Bay has a fascinating past that everyone loves to explore. It is a vibrant village with twisting and narrow cobbled streets that have not changed much over the years. For the holidaymaker, there is plenty of cafes, pubs, restaurants, and activities. These include walking, cycling, exploring rock pools, and searching for fossils. There is also a wide range of accommodation with something available that is suitable for everyone. We take a look at some of the best places to stay in Robin Hood’s Bay.

Our favourite part of the house is reserved for guests staying in the attic room. Arguably the room with the best sea view thanks to its considerable elevation, the top floor features a wonderful snug area with a comfy chair and a fantastic selection of books to enjoy. Perfect for dozing off after a hot soak in the tub.
