Twelve Whitby Dactylioceras Soaps in Boxes

These are great little stocking fillers or mini presents. Twelve dactylioceras ammonite soaps are boxed individually.

The selection of 12 comprises:

2 x Black Clay & Rosemary, 2 x Black Clay & Lavender, 2 x Bladderwrack & Rosemary, 2 x Bladderwrack & Lavender, and 4 x Rose Garden soaps.

9 in stock

One box contains a soap wrapped in white tissue paper, sealed with a Mount House sticker, and a small square card with Jo Witney's drawing of the dactylioceras soap. The outer sleeve is a translucent vellum paper.

Essential oils scent the soaps. Rosemary and lavender grow happily in the garden at Mount House and we are lucky enough to have a white rose of seemingly great age growing along the railings. These plants inspired the choice of scent and a little warming cedarwood was added. The selection includes beige bladderwrack seaweed soaps (bladderwrack adds nutrients not found in land plants), white floral soaps (intended as an alternative to the black soaps), and the more authentically coloured black soaps, which can be a bit messy due to the charcoal and black clay (avoid use with white flannels). The black glossiness of the black soaps is pleasing – and useful for washing really dirty hands after gardening as the dirt does not show on the dried soap.

Minimum weight of each soap = 20 g, diameter 5 cm, one side is flat – as is the original prepared dactylioceras ammonite. An ingredients list can be provided before purchase on request.
