“The balcony overhangs the harbour and there are sea views from every room. Undoubtedly one of the best locations in Whitby this charming quirky cottage is very well equipped and spotlessly clean. Not for the physically impaired – steps to the bedrooms are steep. I’ve been coming to Whitby for many years and I’ve never seen a seal in the harbour. That changed the morning following a storm the previous night. Swimming about to greet us as we woke was a solitary seal. I can’t promise you will see seals but the comings and goings in the harbour will keep you amused for hours. This is a wonderful place to stay with all Whitby has to offer on the doorstep.”
