description

Bramblewick is situated on the West Cliff of Whitby. Built in 1858, it was one of the earliest houses developed in the West Cliff area to meet the growing demand for holiday homes from wealthy Victorians seeking seaside retreats. The house remained in the same family for over eighty years before transitioning into a guest house in the late 1930s.

All eight bedrooms and the breakfast room at Bramblewick are located at the front of the building, benefiting from natural light and picturesque views extending to the Abbey, the iconic 199 steps, and the sea.

Each bedroom features comfortable beds made up of superior-quality cotton bed linen. Additionally, every room includes a seating area, Wi-Fi access, a flat-screen TV, and a hairdryer. Guests will find the hospitality tray well stocked with ‘Yorkshire Tea' and a selection of herbal teas, coffee, biscuits, and sweet treats. Each double room has a mini fridge with fresh milk and bottled water.

Privacy is a top priority at Bramblewick. Once checked in, guests have their own private space for their stay.
