Mount House is a beautiful Georgian residence with a unique collection of vintage and antique furniture, hand-made furnishings, and fascinating artefacts collected over the years. You’ll also find some ammonites and local fossils scattered throughout the House. It’s the perfect place to relax, unwind, and enjoy the beautiful views.
Finding Mount House is easy. It’s located along Cliff Street, halfway down the road. The House stands in a gated courtyard, and the first thing you’ll notice is the breathtaking view across Whitby’s harbour to the Abbey and the sea.
Mount House has two charming guest rooms on the first floor. Ruth is your gracious host and welcomes you to Mount House, which is within easy walking distance of many of the town’s attractions and fascinating heritage sites.
