The family behind Vitty's Cottages
Heather and Iain first visited Whitby over twenty years ago, and from the moment they arrived, they fell in love with the area. It quickly became their dream to one day call it home.
After years of hard work, renovations, buying, selling, and building properties, they decided to go it alone in May 2024. Since then, they have built a strong reputation in Whitby, welcoming many repeat guests and managing their online travel agency listings themselves with the help of Iain’s daughter, Charlotte. Living nearby gives them a real advantage, allowing them to regularly check on their cottages and make sure everything is just right. For Heather and Iain, it’s a true joy to see guests making happy family memories, and they hope to continue welcoming visitors for many years to come.
