Located in the beautiful North York Moors, the property dates back to 1555 and still contains original features to this day. The pub is set around a welcoming stone fireplace and serves a variety of cask beer and carefully selected wine. Situated directly in the picturesque harbour of Staithes, just under 10 minutes drive from Runswick Bay, is the Cod & Lobster Inn. This traditional pub has been a local favourite since its establishment. It’s actually positioned so close to the sea that it has been hit by the waves on three occasions – don’t worry though as the last time this happened was in 1955. Come rain or shine, the Cod & Lobster Inn offers one of the best pub views in the area. Watch the boats sail by as you sip on a nice cold pint of beer. Fill up on staple dinner items including beer battered fish & chips, veg chilli, and jacket potatoes. There are also a range of locally sourced seafood dishes including kebabs and pasta.
