Scarborough is undoubtedly one of the best places in the UK for fish and chips. The 10 fish and chip shops on our list all have unique qualities, but they share the goal of serving top-quality and tasty dishes. So, whether you’re a local or a tourist, we recommend adding these must-try spots to your list while in Scarborough.
Really suggest taking Papas off this list. We ate there on this recommendation and they were the poorest quality fish and chips we had during our Scarborough holiday. We spoke to a few locals who say Papas is known for buying up positive reviews, and that none of the locals go there. After trying it we won’t be returning!
Thanks for letting us know I’m going to North Bay fisheries later
