Whitby Christmas Festival, Whitby Christmas Market.

Of course, we had to begin with Whitby! Whitby’s Christmas Festival will host local sellers selling unique gifts, delicious local and traditional food, live music and a fireworks display. In addition, Whitby’s Christmas Market has a spectacular range of stalls at the festival’s heart. There is no better way to get into the Christmas spirit, so we hope to see you there!

Malton Christmas Festival, Malton Christmas Market.

This two-day Christmas Festival in Yorkshire’s food capital Malton is not to be missed! It is an excellent opportunity to try festive food and pick up handcrafted gifts for loved ones. This weekend is full of festive fun in and around Malton’s picturesque Market Place. It is perfect for the entire family. Each day takes place between 9 am and 3.30 pm. Expect fantastic figgy puddings, award-winning macarons, mulled wine, roasted chestnuts, local gin and much more!

York Christmas Market

York at Christmas is just so magical; plenty is always going on. The shop windows dress in their best Christmas outfits. York Christmas Market boasts many traditional and artisan food, gift stalls, festivities and a Christmassy atmosphere to soak up. We warm up between shopping with a cup of Gluhwein or hot chocolate with Bailey’s topped with marshmallows! The market takes place on Parliament Street, but you can also find cabins in Coppergate and a covered market around the corner.

Living North Yorkshire, Christmas Fair at York Racecourse

Living North Yorkshire, Christmas Fair at York Racecourse.

The Living North Christmas Fair is a fantastic event jam-packed with stalls to browse all in one space, York Racecourse. Here, you can enjoy Christmas shopping, taste traditional food, dance to live music, and much more. There are more than 250 carefully selected stands, from artisan designer-makers to locally produced food. Enjoy a chance to get together with friends and family for a fabulous, festive day out.

Harrogate Christmas Fayre, Harrogate Christmas Market

1st – 17th December 2023

Harrogate’s Christmas Fayre is returning! Enjoy festive shopping, food and traditional European Christmas stalls. Music, entertainment, arts and crafts stalls, festive decorations, and other unique gifts will also be there. So take your family along for a fun day at their family-friendly fairground attractions. The Harrogate Christmas lights will be on, too. The Harrogate Christmas Fayre will take place in the pedestrianised areas of Cambridge Street and Market Place in Harrogate town centre.

Country Living Fair, Harrogate Christmas Market

30th November – 3rd December 2023

Country Living graces Harrogate every year with a Christmas Fair, Market, beautiful decorations and even a Champagne bar. If you are into crafting, this fair is ideal as you can pick up plenty of materials to knit, stitch, craft and create. They also host Country Living Crafting Workshops, which are always well received. Here, you will find handmade gifts for friends and family, receive home styling advice, and try tempting local food and drink made by small artisan producers – all under one roof.
