Perched on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park, Cropton Brewery in Pickering has been producing award-winning ales for over 25 years. The village has a brewing tradition that dates back to 1613, and the brewery reintroduced this ancient craft to Cropton in 1984, starting in the cellars of the New Inn. Customers loved the first brew of ‘Two Pints’ so much that more beer had to be produced to supply pubs and bars beyond the village.

In 1994, the brewery was built at Woolcroft on the farmland behind the New Inn, and production doubled within the year. The same year, they introduced their first bottle-conditioned beer. Over the years, the brewery has grown and flourished, becoming one of North Yorkshire’s best-kept secrets. Recently, it underwent a significant expansion.
